Requirement

The Global Youth Challenge is a world-wide competition that consists of public speaking, essay writing, and creative projects that grapple with the topic of artificial intelligence and the impact that it will have on humanity.

Each entry will examine the possible benefits and potential harm and threat that artificial intelligence poses to humanity through different perspectives.

For example, Stephen Hawking, Elon Musk, and Ben Goertzel have openly discussed the potential threat that AI poses to humanity while at the same time acknowledging the benefits from an existential perspective.
